Quick, the Colombian tech-powered logistics platform known for transforming how goods move across Latin America, is officially launching operations in the United States with a bold $10 million investment.
The move comes with the acquisition of Blue Jay Truck, a Florida-based company with over 30 years of experience in warehousing and last-mile delivery. Blue Jay operates more than 60,000 square feet of warehouse space and a daily fleet of 59 trucks and trailers, making it a key player in South Florida’s logistics landscape.
With this strategic acquisition, Quick aims to open the doors of the U.S. market to Latin American businesses. The plan? Let Quick handle the logistics, so Latin brands can focus on selling.
“We’re proud to see a 100% Colombian company bringing its homegrown tech to the U.S.,” said Julián Caviedes, CEO of Quick. “It’s amazing to see American workers today using logistics systems designed by Colombian developers.”
The deal was finalized in August 2022 after months of negotiation, and just a month later, Quick’s proprietary technology—including its driver app—was already rolled out and in use. The goal is clear: digitize logistics in Florida and offer Latin businesses a smoother way to distribute and deliver their products across the U.S.
“This isn’t just a business move—it’s a mission,” Caviedes added. “We want to make it easier for Latin companies to sell in the U.S., and Quick is here to take care of the entire logistics process.”
